The Wings of Hope Global 26th anniversary brought friends, partners, and supporters together on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Heritage Hotel in Pasay City. It was a night of celebration and a call to action: together, our guests raised ₱1.6 million for poverty alleviation and community empowerment.
“Alone, I can do so little; together, we can achieve so much!”
— Captain Irene Mora, Wings of Hope Global
A Global Family Celebrates 26 Years of Hope
Delegates traveled from the United States, Iran, Israel, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, and regions across the Philippines to mark the milestone. Their presence was a reminder that hope travels across borders, and that our work is carried by people from many countries and backgrounds.
Captain Irene Mora, the pilot and visionary behind the foundation, thanked our donors and the many anonymous supporters whose quiet generosity has sustained Wings of Hope Global for more than two decades. She reminded guests that every gift, whatever its size, helps change a life.
Honoring Our Partners and Supporters
The 26th anniversary was also a chance to recognize the individuals and organizations whose support has made a lasting difference:
- Ara Mina, actress
- Eric Lecain, entrepreneur
- Hamed Danesh
- Rep. Antonino Calixto, Pasay City
- Rose Solangon-Lamagna, producer and anchor of Gabay at Aksyon
- Roy Lamagna
- Cherry Light, SMNI
Where the ₱1.6 Million Goes: Empowering Communities
Our approach starts with the communities we serve. Through education and skills training, community-led initiatives, and partnerships with local organizations and governments, we help families build the tools and confidence to create lasting change for themselves.
Looking ahead, we are expanding our reach through digital outreach and new ways of connecting supporters with the people they help, so that every peso raised goes further.
Support from Pasay City
We are grateful to Pasay City for standing with us. Rep. Antonino Calixto was among the key sponsors honored during the evening, and Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano sent a message of support, delivered by Angelica Roa-Yu.
“…a beacon of hope and a powerful force for good…”
— Rep. Antonino Calixto, Pasay City
“…when compassion leads the way, lives are truly transformed…”
— Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, Pasay City
Be Part of the Next Chapter
Twenty-six years in, our mission is the same. In Captain Mora’s words, “the sky is just the beginning.” You can help us reach more children and families by making a donation or volunteering with us.
