Lifting Vulnerable Children in the Philippines

Most of us see the world from the ground. Captain Irene Mora sees it from the cockpit, and that view has shaped her life's work. As the pilot at the helm of Wings of Hope Global Foundation, she has dedicated herself to one purpose: lifting up vulnerable children in the Philippines, especially poor and abandoned children in remote communities.

A View From Above

Flying over the islands, Captain Mora can see places that are easy to overlook: remote villages where children grow up far from schools, services, and opportunity. Those flights became a constant reminder of the children waiting below.

“…I see the world from above…”

— Captain Irene Mora, Wings of Hope Global

She has seen that many of these children smile through hardship while quietly hoping for a way out of poverty. For her, those hopes are not something to admire from a distance. They are a call to act.

How We Help Vulnerable Children in the Philippines

Wings of Hope Global works to give children what every child deserves: a real chance to grow. With the support of our donors, we focus on:

  • Education, so children can learn, build skills, and imagine a bigger future
  • Essential resources that meet everyday needs and remove barriers to learning
  • A supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and seen

Just as important, we work to build each child's sense of self-worth and their belief in what they can become. When a child believes in their own potential, everything else becomes possible.

Raising Tomorrow's Leaders

Our goal goes beyond meeting today's needs. We want the children we serve to grow into leaders, innovators, and change-makers who will one day lift up their own communities. Every donation helps make that future real. As Captain Mora puts it, our donors are:

“…nurturing the dreams of a generation…”

— Captain Irene Mora, on the impact of our donors

Join Hands With Us

No single person can do this alone. Captain Mora calls on everyone who cares about these children to join hands and empower them, because real change happens when people come together.

“The foundation's work is a testament to the power of collective action.”

— Captain Irene Mora

You can be part of that collective action today by making a donation or volunteering with us. Read more about our recent 26th anniversary celebration.
